This is an advanced training open to all professional Coaches.
ICC Team Coach
Coaches are increasingly being asked to coach business teams. They need different skills to individual business coaches. This training is one of few that specialize in Team Coaching in Business.
The course is divided into five phases.
1.The Team coaching training. This is a four day training.
What you will learn on this training: - Definitions and structure of team coaching in business - The most important differences between team coaching and one to one coaching. - The characteristics of high performance teams and how to develop them. - The obstacles to high performance and how to deal with them. - Advanced questioning skills to bring out the best in teams. - Teams as a system – using leverage points and feedback. - Getting agreement and clarity about team goal - Working with team values. - The different stages of teams and how to deal with them. - Using psychogeography in team coaching. - How to measure a team performance - Dealing with conflict in teams - How to structure effective team action plans - Utilizing team values for motivation - The practicalities of team coaching

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
Those participants who wish to be certified as ICC Team coach will need to complete the following projects after the training.
2. Book summary / Review Tomake a written review of three books from a reading list of relevantbooks on team coaching provided at the training. This summary / reviewwill be distributed to all the participants and the trainer forcomments and feedback.
3. A self-coaching project. Eachparticipant will work on a project of his or her own self-development.They need to present their goals for the project; the values itembodies and their action plan to the trainer within one month of theend of the training. This project can involve a course of study, or anyself development activity. The project needs to be completed in six months and a written report given to the trainer.
4. Team coaching project. Participantswill coach a number of teams they choose, for a total of 30 hours. Theminimum number of teams is three, the maximum is seven. They need to present a written report of these coaching projects to the trainer within one year of the initial training. Avideo with a written commentary is also acceptable. The writtenmaterial need only present feedback and must be consistent with theconfidentiality agreed between coach and client.
A representative of each team will also be asked to give feedback to the ICC about the coaching process.
CONDITIONAL 5. Assesment and leveling (only for those coaches not certified by ICC) All Coaches who were not certified by the ICC will go through an assesment process and possible leveling of knowledge. These are not included on the investment value specified for the training and will be calculated case by case.
All coaches will be given feedback on all phases and if necessary further tasks they need to do to achieve certification.

Coachesmust take this certification andthe business (individual) coachingcertification before they can take theExecutive coaching certificationor the master coach certification. The Business coachcertification plus the Team coach certification will automatically givethe ICC Corporate Coach Certification.
Please note: The completion of a course does notin itself guarantee certification. The certificates are awarded for coaching skills and development. They are not attendance certificates.
The ICC reserves the right to change or substitute the trainers in any course if necessary. Any changes do not invalidate previous programs. The ICC accepts all students, regardless of creed, color, sexual orientation, cultural background or ethnic origin, and it reserves the right to refuse students who display unethical behavior, or whose mental/emotional health might impair the learning process. Recognition of any Coaching certificates issued by the ICC explicitly means that the certified coach respects and follows the Standards and Ethics ofthe ICC. In the event that it is proved that the coach is in breach of these Standards and Ethics, their certificate is automatically cancelled. |
